It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do and can remove pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve with future models. The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models. iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice claim but not enough to justify a higher price. Its smart navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention. 2. Roborock Q Revo When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out.
